Spring Has Sprung!

Hello friends!

What a precious month it has been. I am so excited to share what the Lord is doing in the hearts of college students! I wouldn’t be able to do campus ministry without your support, so THANK YOU! Thank you so much for reading my blog, praying, and partnering with me so generously.

Revival at UNT

FOCUS partnered with 6 other campus ministries at UNT to create a space for people to worship, share their testimonies, pray for one another, and pray for the Lord to move on campus. All right in front of the student union and student-led! I have never experienced or seen anything quite as radical as this on campus. At the end, everyone gathered around a fountain where there were 10 baptisms! Praise the Lord! The first student baptized was simply walking near this event, then someone preached the gospel to him and he decided Jesus was worth his devotion that very evening. It’s moments like these that excite me, overwhelm me, and stir deep gratitude and hope for what the Lord has in store for this generation. 

Denton North Church Retreat

I love the little church I get to attend and the amazing individuals I get to do life with. Denton North Church (DNC) was created as a support for college students in Denton, and in 10 years it has grown to be a home for kiddos, college students, young adults, parents, and grandparents alike. Our annual weekend retreat has left me reflecting on lifelong faith and the fact that Jesus is our prize, a reminder to love the Giver more than the gifts.

Prayer Requests 

- Pray for the students who were invited to attend the Student Institute of Campus Ministry (SICM) conference in May (more on that next month!). Pray that they may be fully fundraised, blessed in their learning, grow into their potential as leaders, and be disciples who make disciples. 

- Pray that the whole of our ministry finishes the semester well and has a safe start to the summer. Pray that this summer may be enriching to their faith rather than the opposite.
